CMAS Carlos E. Castañeda Postdoctoral Fellow Presentation: Myrna García

Myrna García, visiting instructor in the Department of Anthropology at Northwestern University, is a candidate for a CMAS Carlos E. Castañeda Postdoctoral Fellowship in Mexican American Studies for the 2012/2013 academic year. Ms. García is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Ethnic Studies at the University of California, San Diego. Her research and teaching interests are in the fields of Chicana/o studies, im/migration, citizenship, and labor studies. The title of her presentation is "Sin fronteras: Latina/o Immigration and the Politics of Protest and Belonging."
