'Meet and Greet' with Junot Díaz

Join the National Association of Fraternal Organizations (NALFO) and the Center for Mexican American Studies (CMAS) at The University of Texas at Austin on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 for an opportunity to meet Junot Díaz.

This 'meet and greet' will take place at the Shoal Creek Saloon and will provide members of the Austin community with the opportunity to mingle with Junot Díaz. Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in New Jersey, Junot Díaz is the author of “The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao,” which won the Pulitzer Prize in 2008. He recently published a new book, "This Is How You Lose Her."

Following the meet and greet, Junot Diaz will participate in a book signing starting at 7:00 p.m. at Book People.  Book People is located at 603 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, TX 78703.
