Established in 1979, the Center for Women's & Gender Studies (CWGS) supports the research and programming efforts of faculty and students in women's, gender, and sexuality studies. In 2023, CWGS became part of the new Department of Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies (WGSS), which houses the undergraduate and graduate academic programs.
