Undergraduate Program

The Center for European Studies offers a major in the study of Western and Central Europe. Students pursuing a major in European Studies (EUS) must complete all of the College of Liberal Arts requirements for a bachelor’s of arts degree (B.A.). In addition, EUS students must also take 24 hours of European Studies coursework (18 hours of which must be upper division), additional upper-division level foreign language (beyond the COLA language requirement), and a Capstone Thesis Course. EUS majors must also participate in an approved* study abroad program (financial aid is available) or internship in a Western or Central European country.
