The Spring Semester Provides Great Internship Opportunities

With the Texas legislature meeting in Austin for the biennial session in January 2017, the Spring semester is a great time for students to serve in an internship in state government or politics and enroll in GOV 374N, the Political Internships course. The legislative session provides UT Austin students with many valuable opportunities to work in the legislature or for a non-profit or other kind of advocacy group mobilizing for the legislative session. Enrollment in GOV 374N is by application only, but the course requirements were recently lowered. For information about the course, see this page. To see the latest internship postings, go here.
