Biography

I am an historian of Latin America specializing on modern Mexico. My research examines the interplay between Catholic lived religion and Mexico’s autocratic priísta regime after 1940. Yet my wide-ranging social science interests span multiple continents and time periods; I have long been interested in the natural sciences as well. Besides scholarly pursuits, I enjoy travel, photography, boating, and spending quality time with friends and family.
