JULIA GUERNSEY WINS THE 2013 HAMILTON BOOK AWARD
Congratulations to Julia Guernsey for winning the First Prize awarded by the Hamilton Book Awards for her book Sculpture and Social Dynamics in Preclassic Mesoamerica. Professor Guernsey presented materials from her book to the Humanities Institute seminar on Public and Private in 2012, when she was a Humanities Institute faculty fellow.
