Humanities Intensive Learning and Teaching Institute (HILT)

On Wednesday, March 8, 2017 from 1-2PM in the Harry Ransom Center Charles Nelson Prothro Theater, DH@UT Pop-Up Institute will host a Town Hall to discuss the upcoming Humanities Intensive Learning and Teaching Institute (HILT) offered at the University of Texas this summer. HILT is a 5-day, national training institute for researchers, students, early career scholars and cultural heritage professionals who seek to learn more about Digital Humanities theory, practice, and culture.

DH@UT will be discussing HILT 2017, describing classes and answering general questions for graduate students, faculty, and staff interested in learning more about Digital Humanities at HILT and UT Austin.

The DH@UT Pop-Up Institute is committed to building a Digital Humanities ecosystem for innovative research in the Liberal Arts.    

Digital Humanities applies technology to humanities questions and subjects technology to humanistic interrogation that is collaborative and interdisciplinary, crossing the humanities, archaeology, arts and architecture, computer science, film and media studies, information studies, geography, and social sciences.
