TDHCA is seeking 2 to 3 interns to accomplish data base input, analysis and reporting related to multifamily and single family real estate transactions. Each intern is expected to make a commitment of 20-40 hours per week. Internships will begin immediately. College coursework in business preferred.
•Enter real estate and financial tracking data into the Department’s database.
•Run and analyze reports to identify incorrect, missing and anomalous information.
•Follow up with property owners to correct inconsistent information.
•Attend staff meetings.
•Perform various administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.
•Strong analytical ability to recognize patterns and identify inconsistency issues.
•Ability to quickly master new skills in a fast-paced environment.
•Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
•High level of organizational skills.
•Ability to work effectively with representatives from development owners and TDHCA staff members.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Access.
•Ability to sit for long periods of time. Ability to lift, push, carry up to 20 lbs. Normal work environment.
