Professors Nora England and Tony Woodbury Inducted as Fellows of the Linguistic Society of America
The LSA Fellows of the Class of 2017

Two of our faculty, Professors Tony Woodbury​ and Nora England, have been inducted as Fellows of the Linguistic Society of America. They were inducted on Friday, January 6th, here in Austin, at the annual meeting of the LSA. Tony Woodbury and Nora England have made enormous contributions to documentary/descriptive linguistics and to the study of the languages of the Americas. Each of them richly deserves this honor. Please join us in congratulating them!
