Mr. Marmalade is a savage dark comedy that is focused on one evening in the life of a four year old girl named Lucy. Struggling with getting along in the real world full of disappointment, Lucy conjures up the best imaginary friend a little girl could ever dream of: one that doesn't have much time for her, not to mention he beats up his personal assistant, is full of false promises, has a cocaine addiction, and a penchant for pornography. As Lucy's imaginary world crumbles around her, she finds one real friend to hold onto, but will it be enough to get her through the night?
