The soldiers, the prisoners, the abuse, the photographs, and the scandal that changed the way the world sees America and Americans see the war.

Phillip Gourevitch, one of America's leading journalists, will give a talk in the Joynes Room about the Abu Ghraib prison scandal.  His book Standard Operating Procedure ("This book has to be read" - Newsweek) was adapted into a doumentary by Academy Award winning director Errol Morris.  Gourevitch is also editor of the renowned literary magazine The Paris Review.
