We hope all Plan II Alumni and Friends will join us for light refreshments and conversation from 5:30 to 6:30 pm, on Monday, September 20, 2010 in the Lee Jamial Academic Room (Main 212) for the first ever Plan II Alumni and Friends reception.  This will be our opportunity to say thank you for your interest, to share information about the new Plan II Alumni and Friends association (P2AF) and to let you know about plans for the upcoming 75th Anniversary Celebration and Reunion, March 25 and 26, 2011.

Following the reception, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm in Jessen Auditorium, (Homer Rainey Hall, 2.104), Professor Stanley Lombardo offers
the "Underworld Suite: Readings from Homer, Virgil, Ovid and Dante," epic tales from the classical world. He will read a sequence of five passages from Iliad, Odyssey, Aeneid, Ovid's Metamorphoses, and Dante's Inferno having to do the with the underworld.
