The Department of Economics has created a new one-year Master of Arts program. The program will begin in the 2013-14 academic year, with the first cohort of students starting classes in July 2013. The faculty have specially designed a terminal Master's degree with an intensive 10-month, 10-course curriculum. The curriculum provides rigorous training in economic theory and analytical methods. Previously, master's degrees were only available to students that had been admitted to the doctoral program.
The first information session for the new economics M.A. program will be held on Thursday, Jan. 17 at 5 p.m. in BRB 1.118. There will be plenty of time for Q&A. Please register by using the contact form on this website. Seating priority will be given to those who register. Additional information session times will be announced shortly.
