Media Relations

Focuses on strengthening the college’s reputation and improving public understanding of the value of a liberal arts education. Working closely with the dean, the president's communications office, and the college's public affairs team, he oversees all aspects of communications services within the College of Liberal Arts.

Web Content, Social Media and Student News

Emily Nielsen, Public Affairs Specialist II, 512-232-6504

Serves as lead writer for all print and online stories highlighting student success in the College of Liberal Arts. Manages and maintains the college’s social media channels and events calendar. Oversees web content for the College of Liberal Arts website and affiliated sites.

Life & Letters Magazine

Michelle Bryant, Assistant Director of Public Affairs, 512-232-4730

Serves as editor in chief for Life & Letters magazine. Works closely with the director to assist with the development and management of all aspects of marketing and communications within the college. Please contact to submit story ideas for the magazine and forthcoming books.
