Professor Clay Spinuzzi conducts research with student entrepreneur teams
IC2 Institute
In partnership with the IC2 Institute, Clay Spinuzzi is conducting a summer research project to understand how new entrepreneurs make their value propositions more persuasive through feedback.

In this project, "Value Proposition Iteration Strategies Deployed by Student Entrepreneur Teams," Spinuzzi is working together with a research team that includes IC2 Interim Executive Director Gregory D. Pogue, St. Edwards University professor and CapitalFactory mentor David Altounian, and two research assistants. This team is currently investigating technology entrepreneurs in the SEAL program: watching entrepreneurs' pitches, interviewing them, and examining their pitch decks. They expect the results to improve entrepreneur education by better understanding the rhetorical tools that entrepreneurs need in order to succeed.
