Master's Candidate at the Center for Russian, East European, and Eurasian studies, studying Central Asia and ethnic conflict in the Ferghana Valley in Uzbekistan/Kyrgyztan/Tajikistan.

Also intetrested in conflicts surrounding mineral mining in Africa, specifically in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
