Want to Help?

We are considering ways for DDG alumni to get involved in projects like student mentoring, scholarships, and events to bring our community together. If you are interested in helping with a project, please contact Katie Lathrop to get involved.

Ways to Engage with the College of Liberal Arts:

  • Please consider supporting our students during these challenging times by contributing to the COLA Student Emergency Fund. Some of our students have lost jobs and/or been through transitions with housing and other hardships. Your gift can make a difference in making sure our Longhorns can continue their studies.
  • Sign up to watch our On Course virtual lectures live, or find recordings of them at the College's YouTube page.
  • Make a gift to the Dean's Distinguished Graduate Endowment, which supports first-generation college students' participation in internships and undergraduate research.
  • Create a short 20 - 30 second video in landscape mode to encourage our incoming students and wish them well as the embark upon beginning their college journey in a non-traditional way, and submit your video to Katie Lathrop. Please include what information you would like to be added to your name card during your video.
  • Become a member of the Dean’s Circle by making a gift supporting any area of the College that you are passionate about.
  • Take a look at the most recent edition of the College's Annual Impact Report.
  • Read and share stories of our students and faculty in our semi-annual Life and Letters Magazine.
