Professor John Kappelman Analyzes New China Study

Professor John Kappelman had an article published in the journal Nature where explains how a new study shows that hominins left Africa earlier than originally thought, and why that is significant. An excavation in China has uncovered stone tools that are about 2.1 million years old, which pushes back the date of the earliest established signs of a hominin species outside Africa.
