Heman Sweatt Symposium on Civil

Programs will focus on issues related to the African American and Latino experience in today's society such as educational inequality, health care disparities, and the disproportionate representation in the criminal justice system. Furthermore, programs will examine the interaction between African Americans and Latinos and how these issues are manifested in those relationships.
