Clark Center Grant Recipient Publishes Major Book on Shale Gas Law and Policy

Dr. Tina Hunter, then with the University of Queensland but now with the University of Aberdeen, received a Visiting Scholars Grant from the Clark Center to examine shale gas regulation in Texas. Her research contributed to a larger project that has culminated in an important book, the Handbook of Shale Gas Law and Policy, in which Dr. Hunter analyzes the legal, scientific, and economic issues concerning shale gas regulation with respect to the United States, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom. The book offers insights for other jurisdictions as they undertake shale gas extraction.
