Communications Interns

selasitagbormorales Selasi Tagbor Morales

Selasi Tagbor Morales is a third-year International Relations and Global Studies and Latin American Studies double major with a minor in French. She joined the Clark Center during the Fall 2020 semester as a Research Intern. Selasi is currently the Public Relations Chair for Texas Sunshines, a spirit group on campus dedicated to sisterhood and fighting human trafficking alongside their philanthropy, Partners Against Child Trafficking. She is also the Media Co-Director for Students Fighting Climate Change, a UT organization with the mission of achieving local environmental change, both on and off-campus. Selasi is also working for Youth Rise Texas, an Austin-based nonprofit dedicated to uplifting youth that have been harmed by criminalization and deportation so that they can heal and cultivate their communities by taking action. In her free time, she enjoys creating art, watching documentaries, and traveling with her family and friends. After graduation, she hopes to go to graduate school to further her learning in international civil rights and humanitarian efforts, specifically within Latin America. 

sydney-white Sydney White

Sydney White is a freshman in the School of Undergraduate Studies. She joined the Clark Center as a Research Intern in the spring of 2020. In addition to her work for the Clark Center, Sydney is an active participant in the Texas Sunshines, a Spirit Group on campus that works with Partners Against Child Trafficking to fight human trafficking, as well as a member of two academic honor societies at UT. After she graduates, Sydney plans to work in advertising.
