Biography
Hayley has been a graduate student in the department since 2016. She received her MA in 2018 and is currently writing her dissertation on coinage and identity in Late Hellenistic Roman Sicily. Her interests include the archaeology and history of Sicily, numismatics, the archaeology and anthropology of violence, Roman colonialism and imperialism, culture in the Roman provinces, ancient and modern foodways and food culture, and classical reception.
She has taught courses in the department since 2018, including CC 303 Intro to Classical Mythology WB, AHC 319D Ancient Mediterranean World, LAT 506 and 507 First Year Latin, and CC 307 C Intro to Greek Archaeology WB, and has been the TA for CC 303, CC 302, AHC 319D, and CC 307 D.
