UT Austin Alumna (B.A., Journalism and Post-Soviet Studies), Stephanie Elizondo Griest, will discuss her new book, All the Agents and Saints, in which she weaves seven years of stories into a meditation on the existential impact of international borderlines by illuminating the spaces in between and the people who live there. She will present images of South Texas and New York borderlands and the oppressive architecture in their midst. Elizondo Griest is currently an assistant professor of creative nonfiction at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and has lectured across the globe.
