Moody College of Communication Senior Fellows Program Event: Valeria Luiselli

Thu, October 26, 2017 | Room 1.202, Belo Center for New Media (BMC), The University of Texas at Austin

5:30 PM - 7:00 PM

Valeria Luiselli is the author of the recent book, "Tell Me How it Ends: An Essay in 40 Questions," which was hailed by the Texas Observer as the “first must-read book of the Trump era.” A spare and graceful account of her experience working as an interpreter for child migrants seeking entry into the U.S., the book provides an insightful alternative to the political frameworks that dominate our public discourse about immigration.

This event is free and open to the public.

Co-sponsored by the Moody College of Communicaiton Senior Fellows Program, the Lozano Long Institute of Latin American Studies, the Plan II Honors Program (College of Liberal Arts), and the Center for Mexican American Studies.
