The 2nd Annual Conference for Graduate Students Comparative Literature and Literary Studies (GRACLS) will be held October 7 and 8, 2005.

Time: Registration and breakfast will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, October 7 in the Sinclair Suite (Room 3.128) in the Texas Union. The welcoming address will take place at 8:45 a.m. and the panels will start at 9:00 a.m. and end at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.  Registration and breakfast on Saturday, October 8 will begin at 9:00 a.m., with proceedings beginning by 10:00 a.m. and concluding by 6:00 p.m.  Friday and Saturday evening events TBA.

Directions from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport:

•        Exiting the airport, go west on Highway 71.
•        Turn north onto Interstate 35.
•        At Exit 235A, exit I-35 and go west on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
•        As you proceed on MLK Blvd., the University of Texas will be on the right (to the north).


There is a shuttle bus (#100) that leaves from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and has various stops in downtown Austin and on the UT campus.  A one-way ride costs 50¢ and it is very efficient.  For more public transportation information see the Capital Metro website:
