Health & Humanities Research Seminar: Jewel Mullen

The University of Texas Humanities Institute, in collaboration with Dell Medical School, announces a new Health & Humanities Research seminar, which will meet monthly during fall 2018 and spring 2019. This research seminar is one outcome of the summer 2018 Pop-Up Institute on Health and the Humanities, which the Vice President for Research Office co-sponsored with the Humanities Institute, the College of Liberal Arts, Dell Medical School, and the Department of English.
All meetings will run from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm.

Jewel Mullen, M.D., MPH, Associate Dean for Health Equity and Associate Professor in the Departments of Population Health and Internal Medicine will be presenting on Monday, November 5th.

Each seminar will begin with a 20-30 minute presentation by the speaker, followed by a half hour or so of group discussion, and then another half hour for further discussion and socializing over wine and appetizers. The venue is the University of Texas Club, just east of DKR stadium at 2108 Robert Dedman Drive.
