The Americo Paredes Center for Cultural Studies--Cultural Studies Portfolio Program speaker series presents "Thematic Metafiction and the Narrative Voice," a talk by science fiction novelist Ara 13. "Drawers and Booths," Ara 13's first novel, is an experimental science fiction that mixes satire and evolutionary theory in a layered, metafictional journey. He will be discussing the author/reader relationship as revealed through narrative choices.
