Biography
Thomas Staley is a professor in the English Department, Director of the Harry Ransom Humanities Research Center, and the Harry Huntt Ransom Chair in Liberal Arts. His research interests include: James Joyce, Modern British Literature, Humanistic Research, and Building Library Collections. He is the editor of the “Studies in Modernism,” book series and the founding editor of Joyce Studies: An Annual and James Joyce Quarterly. Recent publications include: Writing the Lives of Writers (1998), Reflections on James Joyce: Stuart Gilbert's Paris Journal (1993), and An Annotated Critical Bibliography of James Joyce (1989).
