Congratulations to Melissa Heide, recipient of the Outstanding Master’s Thesis/Report Award, and Aubrey Plourde, recipient of the William S. Livingston Outstanding Graduate Student Academic Employee Award!

The Outstanding Master’s Thesis/Report Award was established in 2003 by the Graduate School to recognize exceptional work by master’s students and to encourage the highest levels of scholarship, research, and writing. Melissa’s winning thesis is titled: Performing Class, Performing Genre: The Squire of Low Degree as Fifteenth-Century Drag. This is quite the outstanding accomplishment indeed!

The William S. Livingston Outstanding Graduate Student Academic Employee Award honors outstanding performance by graduate student academic employees. All graduate students are eligible for nomination, and Aubrey Plourde is one of just two winners, making the English department proud.

Thank you Melissa and Aubrey for all your hard work!
