A Conversation on Palestine-Israel

This meeting brings together two of the world's foremost scholars and activists in a conversation to reflect upon the past, present, and future of Palestine and Israel.  They will discuss questions ranging from the history of colonialism and anti-Semitism in France to the international and European legal approaches to Palestine-Israel, the one-state solution, and the BDS campaign.
Sonia Dayan-Herzbrun is Professor Emeritus of Social Sciences at University Paris Diderot-Paris 7. She is a member of the French National Commission of UNESCO and Vice President of the Commission's Social Sciences Committee.  Her publications focus on social theory, critical theory, post-colonialism, feminism, and the Middle East.  Her most recent book is Women and Politics in the Middle East (L'Hartmattan, 2005).
Richard Falk is Albert G. Milbank Professor Emeritus of International Law and Practice at Princeton University and Visiting Distinguished Professor in Global and International Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara.  He is a prolific and distinguished scholar of international law (having published over 20 books).  Since 2008, he has served as UN Special Rapporteur on the Situation of Human rights in the Palestinian Territories Occupied since 1967.
