Campus Challange- Geography Awareness Week

Please join the UT Geography Society and the Department of Geography and the Environment in celebrating Geography Awareness Week (GeoWeek), November 17th-23rd, 2013. This year's GeoWeek theme is “Geography and the New Age of Exploration,” and focuses on how geography enables us all to be intrepid explorers in our own way.

The Geography Society kicks off their week of activities (poster) with a campus challenge- highlight geography by hanging posters around campus, and sharing geography themed media on the video screens throughout the geography building (CLA). They will also advertise their planned GeoWeek events, please visit the events section of our website or the Geography Society facebook page for more information. 

Students who participate and organize GeoWeek activities are eligible earn a National Geographic GeoWeek Campus Representative Certificate, the program is outlined on the Geoweek blog
