Third Man

An Oscar-winning (cinematography) British film noir classic, The Third Man is a dramatic and visually stunning tale of postwar black market intrigue. Holly Martins, an out-of-work American pulp fiction novelist, arrives in postwar Vienna where a supply shortage has led to a flourishing black market. He comes at the invitation of a former school friend, Harry Lime, who offered him a job, only to discover that Lime recently died in a peculiar traffic accident. Talking to Lime’s friends and associates, Martins soon notices the stories are inconsistent, and determines to discover what really happened to his friend. Come see why The Third Man is considered one of the greatest films of all time. 104 minutes
