The Government Department at The University of Texas at Austin invites applications for a tenure-track position in the politics of South Asia beginning in the 2022-2023 academic year. The search is open to scholars of any rank, working in any sub-field in comparative politics, so long as their research is focused on the region. The successful candidate, if a full professor, may be appointed to the Charles N. Wilson Chair in South Asian Politics; candidates hired at a rank other than full professor may be appointed fellows of the Wilson Chair. Learn more.
