I am a graduate student at the Government Department of the University of Texas at Austin, pursuing a PhD in Comparative Politics. I have a Masters in International Relations from LSE.

My main project intends to explain patterns of international policy diffusion by looking at how different policies diffuse differently across borders. While some policies do so in a fast manner and end up adopted by almost all countries in a region, other policies diffuse more slowly and reach only a few countries.

Before moving into academia I worked as a journalist in Brazil for about nine years as a Producer, International Editor, and Executive Editor. I was also part of the Brazilian team of the Panama Papers investigation, which won a Pulitzer Prize in 2017.
