The Government Undergraduate Advising Office assists students with: degree requirements, scholarships, study abroad programs, honors programs, petitions, special waivers, scholastic probation, and transfer of credit. We also assist students with class registration, the add/drop process, semester planning, and making appropriate referrals to campus resources.
The Liberal Arts Student Division Advisors in Gebauer Hall (GEB 2.200) assists students with: Q Drops and Pass/Fail, One Time Exeptions (OTE), Applying to Graduate, Official Degree Check, etc.
Current Government Majors
Schedule a virtual appointment here. Zoom appointments are now available. Appointments will primarily be online via Zoom. If an In-Person appointment is absolutely necessary, please email email@example.com to make that request.
While advising is not required for students UNLESS they are new to the major or on scholastic probation, it is recommended that all GOV majors visit the advising office at least once a semester.
Prospective Government Majors
If you are not a current GOV Major, you MUST attend a GOV Major Info Session before you can meet with a GOV Advisor.
Please register to attend a mandatory information session in order to declare.

STUDENTS MUST RSVP by 4:30pm the day before the Information Session, otherwise, you will have to attend the next session.
