The Institute for Historical Studies (IHS) presents a workshop by Dr. Brent Sirotta, assistant professor of history at North Carolina State University and IHS Fellow, entitled "The 'Long Church' Movement: Anglican Humanitarianism, 1690-1730"

Sirotta earned his Ph.D. fro the University of Chicago in 2007. His work examines the relationship between the Church and the State in eighteenth-century England, including different contours of religious thought.
