Humanities Texas hosts holiday book sale at Byrne-Reed House

Humanities Texas will host its second Holiday Book Fair at the historic Byrne-Reed House on the corner of 15th and Rio Grande Streets on Saturday, Dec. 11, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Twenty-six noteworthy authors will be there in person to visit with the public and sign copies of their latest books. From the Department of History will be:
H.W. Brands, Don Carleton, Tiffany Gill,
and Emilio Zamora.

Others include: Emily Fox Gordon, S.C. Gwynne, James Haley, Bill Hobby, Jacqueline Kelly, Naomi Shihab Nye, John Phillip Santos, Frank de la Teja, Diana Welch, and Bill Wittliff.

Humanities Texas will have books for purchase at a 20% discount. Free parking will be available in St. Martin’s Evangelical Lutheran Church’s large parking lot on the northwest corner of 15th and Rio Grande Streets.

Coffee will be available along with a bake sale of homemade treats.
