US Diplomatic History, Cold War, Congress, CIA, US-Latin American relations

After spending most of my life living in and around New York City, I moved to Washington DC to attend George Washington University. While interning at the National Security Archive, I wrote my MA thesis on the changing oversight arrangement between Congress and the CIA during the 1950s. Now as a PhD student at UT-Austin I plan to continue my work on the congressional oversight of intelligence activities during the Cold War, with an emphasis on US-Latin American foreign relations.
