Material History Workshop

The Material History Workshop is a bi-monthly forum organized and led by graduate students interested in material cultures, artifacts, and physical objects. The workshop is a community-orientated space for graduate students to share and work on their personal projects. Our meetings are made of various activities and themes, and include, but are not limited to, paper presentations, writing workshops, conceptual readings, and guest lectures. While the majority of participants are historians, we welcome participation from graduate students from any department at UT to join and share their methodological and empirical insights.
