Slate's History Blog, "The Vault" features Joan Neuberger

Tue, April 2, 2013

The online magazine Slate launched a history blog called The Vault: Historical Treasures, Oddities, and Delights," edited by UT alumna Rebecca Onion.

Last week The Vault posted a short piece by Joan Neuberger, Profesor of History and Editor of Not Even Past, in which she wrote about canonical Soviet film director Sergei Eisenstein and his beloved books. Read "Scoping Sergei Eisenstein's Bookshelves" here: Eisenstein's Bookshelves.

Professor Neuberger also wrote another piece for The Vault last month, entitled "This 1922 Kodachrome Test Footage is Strangely Bewitching," which can be found here: Kodachrome Footage. That one was adapted from an earlier NEP blog entry and it has received over 20,000 "likes."
