Presentation: "Stop Talking: Ancient Pedagogies for a Sustainable Future"

The Humanities Institute' Difficult Dialogues Program invites you to a public presentation by Ilarion (Larry) Merculieff and Elizabeth Roderick, the co-authors of Stop Talking: Indigenous Ways of Teaching and Learning Difficult Dialogues in Higher Education.

Mr. Merculieff is an Aleut leader, and the Director of the Global Center for Indigenous Leadership and Lifeways. Dr. Roderick is the Associate Director of the Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence and the the Director of Difficult Dialogues at the University of Alaska-Anchorage.

They will present traditional Alaska Native ways of teaching and learning, and invite the audience to reflect upon the ways these pedagogies can be utilized in higher education settings.
