Southwest of Salem
Southwest of Salem

Southwest of Salem excavates the nightmarish persecution of four Latina lesbians wrongfully convicted of sexually assaulting two little girls. The film also unravels the sinister interplay of mythology, homophobia, and prosecutorial fervor which led to this modern day witch hunt. Director Deborah S. Esquenazi will be present for the screening.

Join us for a reception at 6:30pm. The screening will begin at 7pm, to be followed by a brief conversation.
