Experts

IUPRA's Faculty Fellows and Associates are experts drawn from departments and schools across the University, including the College of Education, the LBJ School of Public Affairs, the College of Liberal Arts, the Steve Hicks School of Social Work, the College of Pharmacy, and the College of Natural Sciences. They represent many diverse disciplines, including education, psychology, sociology, social work, human development and family sciences, Black Studies, Mexican American Studies, anthropology, government, and pharmacy. IUPRA aims to use research, especially social science research, that can be used to inform public policy issues and be disseminated to policy makers, scholars, community leaders, and the public. Faculty Fellows and Associates are expert resources who will share their research and participate in various IUPRA activities, including seminars, workshops, and conferences.

As an integral part of IUPRA’s community of scholars, Faculty Fellows and Associates serve as an important resource for IUPRA’s staff and the Texas Legislative Black Caucus.
