Just a few examples of typical projects: 
• Pricing: Build and maintain algorithms that help determine the value of each unique used vehicle. These algorithms help us determine what we should pay to acquire cars and what we should sell them for. 
• Web: Understand consumers’ ever-growing use of digital during their shopping process (through data analysis on carmax.com and qualitative consumer research) and work w/ cross-functional partners to propose, design and test innovations on carmax.com and our mobile apps to turn our 15+monthly web visits into satisfied CarMax customers. 
• Marketing: Determine the allocation of our $100M advertising spend across various media channels (TV, radio, digital, search), customer segments and markets to best drive affinity for and visits to CarMax. Within our digital programs, use data to make real-time placement decisions, driving maximum customer volume at an optimal ROI.
