Accenture Management Consulting Development Program Analyst Intern – Summer 2015

Join our Management Consulting Development Intern Program and gain hands-on client experience in a variety of fields as you develop essential core management consulting skills. You will work with leading business and government organizations to address some of their most significant challenges. Together with talented and diverse colleagues, you could be involved in the analysis and development of transformational business models, through to helping clients integrate and operate them. Along the way, you’ll get the opportunity to develop strong leadership, problem solving and people management skills. You will: 

• Focus on project delivery for clients across business and government sectors 
• Build skills across multiple management consulting functional areas 
• Collaborate with project teams made up of people with diverse and complementary skills 

Daily responsibilities will vary by project, but you may find yourself: 

• Designing new business processes and capabilities 
• Performing rigorous, financial, business case, statistical and other quantitative analyses 
• Conducting industry and client research and analysis to identify new value sources 
• Supporting functional user requirements and specifications 
• Developing communications, training and job aids to assist in change management activities 
• Communicating clearly and concisely in written and oral formats 

Paid internships last 10 - 12 weeks and typically begin in late-May/early-June and end in mid-August /early-September. Rising Senior Interns attend a three-day leadership conference in the Chicago area with all Accenture interns from across the US. 

Hiring locations are based on a combination of business need, skillset alignment and personal preference. Locations include: Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Raleigh, Chicago, Columbus, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Manhattan, Florham Park, San Jose, San Francisco, Sacramento, Philadelphia, Seattle, St. Louis, and Washington DC. 

Basic Qualifications 
• Bachelor’s degree (with a graduation date between December 1, 2015 and June 30, 2018) or Master’s degree (with a graduation date between December 1, 2015 and June 30, 2016) 
• Legal Authorization to work in the US without company sponsorship* 

Preferred Qualifications 
• Previous project-based internship with a leading company, not-for-profit or government entity 
• Advanced proficiency with desktop applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) 
• 3.5 or higher cumulative (overall) GPA 
• International study/internships 
• Multi-lingual 
• Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian 
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian

• Strong communication (written and oral), interpersonal and relationship-building skills 
• Willingness and flexibility to work across a wide variety of strategic and operational roles across industries
