Internship Responsibilities: Accenture Student Empowerment Program – Sophomore 
Accenture recruits for entry level internships in Technology, Strategy, Digital, and our Operating Groups for technology and management consulting. If eligible, you’ll be aligned with a group based on your experience, interest and business demand. 

There will never be a typical day at Accenture, but that’s why people love it here. The opportunities to make a difference within interesting client initiatives are unlimited in the ever-changing business landscape. Here are just a few of your responsibilities. 

• Analyze and document current business processes and technologies 
• Design and test new business processes, capabilities, and technologies 
• Build portions of the application 
• Develop innovative answers to complex business and/or IT challenges 
• Focus on technical architecture, delivery excellence, program management and specialist technology areas 
• Build a common set of technology capabilities, across assessment, planning, design and implementation 
• Support functional user requirements and specifications 
• Develop communications, training and job aids to assist in change management activities 
• Perform rigorous financial, business case, statistical and other quantitative analyses 

Paid internships last 10 to 12 weeks and typically begin in late-May/early-June and end in mid-August /early-September. 


Your Experience: Basic Qualifications 
• Legal authorization to work in the US without company sponsorship 
• Candidates must be current undergraduates with a graduation date between December 1, 2016 and June 30, 2018 
• Demonstrated leadership with quantitative and analytical skills 
• Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment 
• Capacity to work individually and as a team member in a professional client environment 
• Highly motivated and self-confident 
• Responsible for transportation and related fees associated with getting to your work location 

Set Yourself Apart: Preferred Qualifications 
• 3.2 or higher cumulative (overall) GPA 
• Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian 
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian
