Aon currently has excellent summer internship positions available. Aon’s Business Internship Program
provides interns with 10 weeks of value packed real world experience along with a formal development

A Value Adding Program Development Plan (Curriculum)

An understanding of Aon’s ethical requirements
Training geared toward enabling interns to demonstrate an ability to work in a professional
business environment

colleagues/management at weekly interactive speaker forums
Opportunities to learn and utilize Aon’s internal systems
Opportunities to demonstrate interpersonal and teambuilding skills through many networking
events
An Opportunity to Explore Post Graduation Career Path Opportunities
The goal of the Business Internship Program is to give students significant exposure to Aon through
assignments, continuing education and a training curriculum. The program also provides students with an
excellent opportunity to learn and prepare for post‐graduate career opportunities at Aon. Upon
successful completion of the Business Internship Program, highly qualified interns may be offered postgraduation
full‐time positions within the Launch Program, Aon’s Early Career Development Program.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a member of the Business Internship Program (BIP), interns will be assigned specific responsibilities and
performance objectives with their manager(s). Participants will also be required to complete their
assigned formal development plan set forth by the Program and the individual departments. Additionally,
participants will be ambassadors of Aon by accomplishing the following:
Support end to end client service delivery for aligned domain(s)
Independently handle complex tasks such as client escalations, report analysis, and
communication to key stakeholders
Manage projects, coordinating with clients, third parties, and other Aon Hewitt services
Build personal domain, plan, and regulatory knowledge through formal learning and on the job
learning experiences
Participate in internal client acceptance testing and integration testing
Documents change orders and changes to plan requirements
Participate in client projects as well as special projects matched to client needs and intern
interests
Participate in leadership calls to gain global business exposure through Aon Hewitt
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
Intern selection will be based upon, but not limited to, the following criteria:
Undergraduates of junior year status majoring in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Liberal
Arts and Sciences or a related degree
Must graduate between December 2014 and June 2015
A minimum overall GPA of 3.0 strongly preferred
The ability to work as an integral part of a team, fostering teamwork and cultivating relationships, as
well as work independently or with minimal direction
Client and business results oriented focus
Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
Critical and innovative thinking, problem‐solving and analytical skills
Desire to learn and display Aon’s values including acting with integrity and displaying a client,
colleague and community commitment.
Adaptability – quick learner
Mature and professional demeanor
Positive attitude
Strong PC skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
