Every summer, Aon welcomes a class of talented college recruits to Launch, Aon's U.S. Early Career Program established to coach and develop future business leaders. Between January and July, members of the national cohort "launch" their Aon careers in various full-time positions across the company. Then in August, they begin a supplemental year-long development program, which kicks off with a three-day orientation at our North America headquarters in Chicago. Through their work assignments, Launch participants are positioned to tackle real business challenges in a collaborative environment under the mentorship of senior leaders. And the Launch training curriculum prepares participants for success as they explore growth opportunities throughout the organization. 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES As a member of the Launch: Early Career Development Program, colleagues will be assigned specific responsibilities and performance objectives with their manager(s). Participants will also be required to complete their assigned formal development plan set forth by the Program and the individual departments. Additionally, participants will be ambassadors of Aon by accomplishing the following: • Discuss assignment specifications and performance with mentor and manager • Complete assigned training curriculum • Support Aon’s values at all times • Represent the Program in a professional manner • Develop awareness of policies and adapt behavior accordingly • Approach all development opportunities with an open and positive mindset • Maintain realistic expectations of the Program • Give and receive constructive feedback • Attend and contribute to regularly scheduled meetings and team building activities • Participate in Program campus recruitment activities, if required 
Business Delivery Specialist Job Summary 
Each colleague will be aligned with a specific team within Aon Hewitt HR Business Process Outsourcing or Benefits Administration based on business need and skill set. Placement opportunities may include (but are not limited to) Total Benefits Administration, Payroll, Workforce Administration, Operations, Talent and Customer Service. The Business Delivery Specialist (BDS) works across multiple areas and with various leaders to support ongoing delivery and project work. 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 
Formal Education: 
• Bachelors degree 
• Business Internship desired 
• GPA 3.0

Job Description- Set up Configuration Specialist 

The Set up Configuration Specialist (SCS) is responsible for configuring and testing Aon Hewitt's proprietary Total Benefit Administration (TBA) System based on analysis documents of client requirements. Configuring involves using graphical user interface tools to customize code to fix a system defect or update the system per clients’ request. SCSs are responsible for testing the code and debugging issues/defects prior to the code being moved to production. 

Responsibility Areas 

• Configures new setup for the Total Benefits Administration System to fix system defects or complete a client request or change, while ensuring that it performs accurately, reflects requirements, and has zero negative impact to existing provisions 
• Monitors task completion and communicates status to team 
• Collaborates with Aon Hewitt managers to clarify requirements 
• Writes and submits queries using Structured Query Language(SQL) to identify and pull participants from a client database 
• Emphasizes the use of the Systems Development Life Cycle(SDLC) and associated methodologies from all colleagues 
• Executes test plans by identifying/creating test participants and performing calculations for expected results 
• Analyzes issues/defects and debugs the system when actual results do not meet expected results 
• Interprets and understands conditional statements (i.e., If/Then/Else) 
• Applies basic relational database concepts (e.g., table relationships, keys) 
• Communicates ideas in both a technical and non-technical language 


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

Formal Education 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Liberal Arts, Science or Engineering with a focus (major or minor) in an analytical area of study, including but not limited to Management Information Systems, Informatics, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or Analytics 
• Previous internship(s) experience preferred 
• GPA 3.0 
• August/December 2014 or May/June 2015 graduate

Job Description- Workday Configuration Specialist

The WCS is responsible for configuring and testing Workday’s next generation SaaS-based solutions for Human Resources and Payroll based on client specific requirements. The WCS will attend Workday delivered training and will receive their Workday Consultant Certification.
