Ideal candidates will be able to perform the following: 
• Prepare complex financial models, identify key underwriting assumptions, and understand the underlying fundamentals of real estate capital markets transactions 
• Perform detailed underwriting and analysis of commercial real estate loans and properties, and understand structural and scenario specific deal components 
• Execute sensitivity analysis on key deal components and effectively communicate results to team members and clients 
• Prepare and review transaction offering materials 
• Oversee and manage deal teams for associate-led transactions 
• Communicate and develop long-term relationships with prospective buyers and clients in order to facilitate transaction execution and encourage business development 
• Collaborate with senior professionals throughout the deal execution and debt financing processes of large real estate capital market transactions 
• Maintain proprietary reports and prepare any needed financial analysis 
Knowledge and Experience: 
• 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, principal investing, corporate M&A, or consulting strongly preferred 
• In depth knowledge of corporate finance and complex financial structuring and waterfall modeling 
• Advanced Excel modeling skills required, Argus experience a plus 
• Advanced knowledge of statistics a plus 
• MBA and undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, or Mathematics strongly preferred 
• Ability to multitask and execute on multiple transactions at various stages of the deal process 
• Strong attention to detail 
• Strong institutional presentation skills 
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills; analytic creativity and insight 
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including negotiating capability
